Discovering My World

This is a story of a young boy's day of outdoor adventure. It is also designed to be a child's first field guide. It identifies the leaves of several trees, several kinds of insects, clouds, some flowers, and a few herbs. It identifies some birds, a few types of animals, some animal tracks, a few vehicles, and even several types of fish. I wrote this book with my grandson in mind. These are things that sparks his interest. I am helping him explorer his suroundings as he learns to love nature and the world around him. I hope it does the same for others as well. I feel it is important to be a part of a child's world as they discover the things that interest them and help them understand how to respect and interact with those things.'
